About

Inclusion is one of the most talked-about workplace values—but often one of the least understood in practice. The Truth About Inclusion is a thought-provoking and practical training designed to help leaders, managers, HR professionals, and business owners examine the gap between the inclusion organizations claim to value and the inclusion employees actually experience. In this engaging course, participants will explore how organizational values are intended to guide behavior, shape culture, and support fair decision-making—but also how those same values can unintentionally create harm when interpreted inconsistently, applied subjectively, or used as justification for bias. Through real-world examples and honest reflection, this training challenges participants to move beyond performative statements and examine how inclusion is truly built—or broken—through everyday leadership behaviors, communication, and decision-making. Participants will learn how to: Understand the true purpose of organizational values and their role in workplace culture Identify when values are helping create clarity, consistency, and trust Recognize how subjective interpretation and inconsistent leadership create exclusion Spot common workplace language that may signal hidden bias, favoritism, or inequity Distinguish between values-based leadership and values-based bias Understand the difference between leadership intent and employee impact Apply practical strategies to align values with fairness, accountability, and inclusion Build cultures where inclusion is experienced—not just stated This course is ideal for leaders, supervisors, Human Resources professionals, and small to mid-sized business owners who want to create workplaces where fairness, belonging, and trust are part of the daily employee experience—not just words on a wall. Because true inclusion is not created This is a Micro E-Learning Program. Length of Training: 15 - 30 minutes
